Dr. Linda Gries is a graduate of Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a lifelong resident of Louisville and has been practicing veterinary medicine in town since 1988.

Learn Who We Are

  • Linda Gries
    DVM (Fear Free Certified)

    Dr. Gries has been practicing veterinary medicine in Louisville since 1988. She currently lives in Louisville with her husband, Jim, and their two daughters. They have two dogs, Fern and Redford, and a cat, Sperry.

  • Amie
    (Fear Free Certified)

    Amie is a vet tech who has learned from and loved animals throughout her life. She lives with her Jack Russell, Oso, and her two cats, Hodi and Daphne.

  • Cheyenne
    (Fear Free Certified)​

    Cheyenne is our assistant office manager and an occasional technician. She is a Louisville native that grew up less than a mile from our hospital. She graduated from Bellarmine University in 2013 and spent a year in Fort Hood, TX, where she received her Dog Obedience Training certification from Animal Behavior College. Now she lives in Indiana with her husband, two children, and two dogs, an Australian Shepherd mix named Leila, and a Border Collie named Fiona. In her free time she enjoys hiking, watching movies, and baking.

  • Laurel
    (Fear Free Certified)

    Laurel is a technician who recently graduated college with a degree in communications. She lives locally with her dog Sega and two cats, Zoey and Chloey. She enjoys music and photography.

  • Molly
    (Fear Free Certified)

    Molly came to us in 2018 as an experienced veterinary technician. She has two dogs and two cats, and enjoys traveling.

  • Chip Harkins
    LVT (Fear Free Certified)

    Chip is a fifth generation native of Atlanta, Georgia, and a graduate of The University of Georgia.  After a 31-year career in commercial insurance, he retired as a Vice President from Wells Fargo.  He graduated from Morehead State University's Veterinary Technology program and obtained his license in 2013. Chip and his wife Jennifer have three sons and three grandchildren, all of whom live in Louisville. His interests outside of veterinary work include fishing and target shooting.

  • Jim

    Jim is our office manager and food provider. He retired from the city a few years ago and now manages the clinic with his wife, Dr. Gries. He lives in Louisville with his wife, two daughters, two dogs, and a cat.

  • Jill

    Jill is our part-time receptionist. She currently attends University of Louisville Hite Institute of Art and sketches as much as she can. She enjoys volleyball, memes, and of course art!

  • Cyrena

    Cyrena is one of our newest members! She is our receptionist who also does pet grooming. She lives in Indiana with her dog Sloan.
