Prescription Policy Update
Hello Crescent Hill families! We wanted to make you aware of upcoming changes to how we manage requests from outside pharmacies.
Starting September 1, 2026, our team will no longer be able to approve direct requests from outside pharmacies (Chewy, Costco, Kroger, etc).
Don’t worry! This does not limit your options! We’d like to invite you to purchase your pets’ food and medication in the following ways:
1. Purchase in the hospital - during your visit or give us a quick call for prescription requests.
2. Purchase through our online pharmacy at https://crescenthillah.bluerabbitrx.com/ - with convenient AutoShip, recurring savings, and special discounts offered throughout the year.
3. Pick up a free written prescription - to be used at any pharmacy of your choice, free of charge!
*Exceptions will be made for compounded medications if they are not available on our online pharmacy.
Adjusting our prescription policy helps us provide the quality care you’ve come to expect and allows us to:
-Focus on timely patient care and client service
-Convey prescription information accurately
-Verify the sourcing, handling, and storage of prescription practices
-Speed up prescription requests
